Creative Director & Founder of Stylesight Fabrics, an exclusive high quality fabric studio offering the latest trends, colours and fashion fabrics.

What do you love most about what you do?

I love the creativity of working with beautiful fabrics and seeing how they are forever evolving. I love meeting and working with other creative people, from my wonderful suppliers in South Korea and China to my amazing customers here in Australia.

I especially love seeing the journey of fabrics as finished products in garment form, and then seeing people wearing them.

How long have you been working with Philosophy?

For over 12 years

What do you love about the Philosophy brand?

I love the fact that Philosophy is made here in Australia. The quality is impeccable and the fashion and style is always on point. I also love that the brand is so true to their ethics. I have met most of the Philosophy team, and everyone is valued and has pride in their work which follows through to the end product. It's like one big happy family!

Have you got a great memory or story about your time working with Philosophy that you’d like to share?

I have many great memories working with Philosophy. Ali is so creative and when Ali is putting a new collection together, her inspiration seems to come from everywhere.

Ali once sent me the most adorable little videos of her kids. They had selected their favourite prints of what they thought would be good for the new collection. I think they even named the designs. I’m pretty sure they ended up being best sellers. They must take after their Mum!

We've asked our boutiques as part of the Shop Local, Support Small, Buy Australian Made campaign how they would sum up Philosophy, what would you say?

Philosophy supports so many other small businesses, like mine.

I am very grateful and appreciate the opportunity to work with such a great team. They are very professional, and it certainly is enjoyable to work with such a creative, inspiring, fun and fair company. I feel Philosophy really do care, they want the best outcome not only for them, but for their customers, suppliers, manufacturers and anyone else that helps to make Philosophy the great company it is!

What three words would you use to describe yourself?

Kind, creative and organised.
