Can you believe we've already reached July?
This year seems to be moving at lightning speed, and I wanted to take a moment to pause, reflect, and simply say thank you as we close out ‘joyous June’.
Whether you’ve purchased a piece, shared one of our posts, visited us at an event, recommended us to a friend, or simply opened these emails each week, we consider you a part of the Philosophy Australia family, and we never take that support for granted.
As one of the small number of brands still proudly designing and manufacturing every garment locally, your support means so much. It keeps Australian skills alive, supports local families, and proves there is still a place for thoughtful, slow fashion. Welcome to what we’re affectionately calling the 3% Club. Together we’re proving that Australian made still matters, and that “Australians do it better!”
Our touchstone word for 2026 has been Emerge.
“We’re not going to be Australia’s best kept fashion secret anymore.”
Not by losing our identity to chase new product categories, but by becoming more visible and accessible to those that don’t know us. By telling our story more often, by showing the faces behind the garments, by stepping outside our comfort zone and sharing the ‘why’ of our label.
And what a first six months it has been.
We’ve celebrated Australian Made Week, hosted warehouse events and styling sessions, attended Australian Fashion Week discussions, presented at Revel Runway, spoken on television and radio about Australian manufacturing and small business, had multiple media pieces published, had award recognition, welcomed wonderful new boutique customers into our community, along with many many more customers through our social platforms, and continued sharing styling advice that helps busy women build wardrobes they genuinely love wearing.
We’ve also quietly been working behind the scenes on one of the most exciting collaborations we have ever done. Very soon, we will be introducing out limited edition collaboration with fragrance brand denu, created alongside my beautiful friend Sarah.
It celebrates Australian botanicals, Australian craftmanship, and two businesses that believe kindness, quality and thoughtful design never go out of fashion. I genuinely cannot wait to share it with you this month.
The second half of the year is shaping up to be just as exciting as the first.
We’ll be launching the Spring Summer 2026 collection online for you, the Autumn Winter 2027 collection in the showrooms for our boutique customers, and continuing to grow the community, showcasing at more events, sharing even more styling inspiration, and opening the warehouse doors again for our ever-popular sample sale in November.
