SMALL BUSINESS CGT THRESHOLD CHANGE

That escalated quickly! 

I missed a call from Channel 7 on Friday 19 June at 10am, called them back at 11am, and by 12pm they were in the warehouse filming Michelle and me for the Friday night news.

The conversation was around the CGT threshold change for small business, increasing from $2 million to $10 million, and what that means for more businesses who may now be supported by the active asset exemption.

Hopefully I managed to get my message across clearly: support small, shop local and buy Australian made.

Small business really is the backbone of the economy. Behind every order there are people, families, suppliers, contractors and communities. And yes, fashion is a discretionary spend, but when you choose to spend with a small Australian business, I promise you, there is someone on the other end doing an actual happy dance 💃
