When it comes to creating the perfect pair of pants, we believe it’s all about comfort, quality, and craftsmanship; and at our Sydney studio, we’ve spent years perfecting every detail. Each pair of our Australian-made pants begins with one person: our designer and founder, Ali Lennard.
Ali still personally designs every garment, guided by her design motto: “Easy wear, easy care, wear anywhere style.”
This philosophy is at the heart of every pair of pants we make. Whether you’re dressing for work, travel, or a relaxed weekend, our pants are created to bring you comfort, ease, versatility, and lasting value.
The Design Process That Sets Us Apart
While many brands rely on overseas manufacturers and digital “tech packs,” we do things differently and we know that’s what makes our pants the best.
Ali starts each design the old-fashioned way, by hand, sketching ideas and jotting down notes. Working alongside Maria, our trusted pattern maker of more than 18 years, the two share a creative shorthand built over thousands of best-selling styles. Together, they transform a simple sketch into a beautifully fitting sample, crafted by our skilled sample machinist, Annie.
In 90% of cases, that first sample is ready for production which is a true testament to our team’s expertise, intuition, and passion. Every garment reference sheet, or “kit,” is completed only once Ali is certain that the design meets her core criteria:
- Is it comfortable to wear?
- Is it easy to care for?
- Can it be worn anywhere, by anyone?
